ADVANCING THE RIGHTS OF WOMEN & GIRLS WORLDWIDE
Since 1976, the International Center for Research on Women has set the global agenda for gender equity, inclusion, and shared prosperity with our action-oriented research and solutions.
Our Work
Gender inequity lies at the root of every major problem the world faces. Therefore, gender must inform every solution, from creating sustainable business practices, to expanding opportunities for youth, to addressing the ever-changing global health challenges.

Research
Fueled by our commitment to equity, ICRW's research team is comprised of experienced researchers and analysts who are committed to conducting high-quality research that contributes to meaningful change for women, girls, and structurally excluded populations.

Programs
Our Advisors, Research, and Advocacy teams work in close collaboration to design and implement evidence-based programs that promote gender equality and empower women, girls, and structurally excluded populations.

Advocacy
Our Advocacy team works closely with our Research team to develop evidence-based policy recommendations and advocate for change at the local, national, and global levels.

Advisory Services
Our Advisors team works closely with our researchers to provide evidence-based guidance and results-oriented solutions to corporations, nonprofits, philanthropic organizations, and other stakeholders.

The ICRW Network
The ICRW Network encompasses three autonomous regional entities—ICRW-Africa, ICRW-Americas, and ICRW-Asia. Each region sets priorities rooted in its own context, ensuring decisions align with local needs, realities, and opportunities. We remain a globally connected organization, sharing knowledge, and collaborating to improve programs, practice, and policies across borders. Together, we generate actionable evidence and co-design scalable solutions and innovative policies to unlock opportunity and improve the lives of women, girls, and structurally excluded populations.
