Parasnath Verma

Parasnath Verma is the Assistant Director – Research & Program at ICRW Asia, with over 20 years of experience working on gender and masculinities, engaging men and boys for gender equality, adolescent and youth engagement, and gender-transformative programming. His work focuses on transforming harmful gender and social norms through research, evidence generation, and community-based approaches.

He brings extensive experience in quantitative, qualitative and mixed-methods research, programme design, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), and knowledge generation. His work bridges research and practice, translating evidence into programme strategies, learning, training curricula and practical approaches that strengthen gender-transformative programmes and inform policy and practice. He also works with government, civil society and community stakeholders to support programme implementation and learning.

Over the course of his career, he has worked with organisations including the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), Population Council, and the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), contributing to research and programmes on gender, health, education and social development.
