Monica Bhalla

Monica Bhalla (she/her) is Assistant Director, Administration at ICRW Asia.  In this capacity, she oversees the overall administration of the office, including organizing international and national travel of staff; coordinating logistics and other administrative requirements for all meetings, conferences, disseminations and events; managing procurement, office assets, IT inventory and insurance; and tracking and managing the Asia office’s lease agreements, service contracts, among other tasks and responsibilities.

Monica has an experience of 20 years in the field of administration with various international organizations and the United Nations (UN).  She has extensive insight and knowledge of administrative systems, human resources, logistics and coordination of country and regional program activities in international organizations.

Prior to this, Monica worked with the Population Council as Regional and Country Administrator for their Regional and Country office. In the past, she has worked in the Administration and Finance unit of the International Labor Organization (ILO); and as the Senior Faculty and Head of the Department with Centre for Information Technology (CITS).
