Kumud Ranjan (he/him) is a Senior Block Coordinator at ICRW Asia, based at the Jamtara office in Jharkhand. He is seasoned development professional specializing in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Knowledge Management (MEKM), with over six years of experience across education, public health, gender, child protection, and livelihoods. He has worked with organizations such as Room to Read, Child in Need Institute, Badlao Foundation, Srijan Foundation, and SISU, leading the design and implementation of robust monitoring frameworks, digital data collection systems, and capacity-building initiatives at multiple levels.

Kumud brings strong expertise in developing and managing M&E tools using platforms such as SurveyCTO, KOBO, and Google Forms, translating data into actionable insights, and mentoring teams to strengthen program effectiveness. Prior to joining ICRW, he served as Associate – Research, Monitoring and Evaluation at Room to Read.

His work spans large-scale initiatives, including strengthening foundational literacy in Giridih under the NIPUN Bharat Mission, advancing gender equity through the GEMS program, and promoting livelihoods through the MKSP project under NRLM. Kumud is deeply committed to evidence-based approaches that enhance program quality and deliver meaningful impact at the grassroots.
