Deepshikha completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Literature from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She also obtained a second Master’s degree in Public Policy and Governance from Azim Premji University, Bangalore, India.

Deepshikha Chatterjee (she/her) is a Senior Research Associate at ICRW Asia. Prior to joining ICRW, Deepshikha worked as a Senior Associate for Research, Monitoring and Evaluation at Swaniti Initiative where she designed, operationalised and monitored several state technical assistance programs on climate and sustainability, solarisation, and water rejuvenation across several states like Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. Her experience includes, government liaisoning and stakeholder management, program design and operations, and preliminary impact measurement and reporting.
She has also previously worked as a sports journalist covering grassroot level sports and Olympic aspirations in India and led platform coverage for several international tournaments like the 2018 Asian Games, the 2018 Commonwealth Games, and World Championships in several sports. Her stories also included issues like sports governance in India and doping.
