CWEEE analysis of White House WGDP Initiative
The Coalition for Women’s Economic Empowerment and Equality (CWEEE) issued a statement with their analysis of the White House’s new Women’s Global Development & Prosperity Initiative, launched February 8. The initiative will invest $50 million in women’s entrepreneurship, including some of the barriers to entrepreneurship, such as gender-based violence or the disproportionate burden of unpaid care shouldered by women.
