Malawi police arrest HIV-positive man paid by parents to have sex with scores of young girls

In Malawi a “hyena” – or man who has sex with women and girls ritualistic purposes – was arrested for having sex with girls under the age of 18. Data from an ICRW fact sheet on child marriage was cited in the Washington Post article, as girls in some villages are expected to engage in sexual acts with a hyena before they marry.
