Media Contact
About the Event
Care work continues to remain one of the most invisible yet essential pillars of our economy, deeply gendered, often unpaid, and unevenly distributed. Advancing gender equity requires not only recognising care but also reimagining who participates in it.
ICRW Asia invites you to โ๐๐๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐: ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ง, ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒโ, a dissemination event presenting insights from a national landscape study on engaging men in caregiving in India. The study examines existing approaches, pathways of change, key enablers and barriers and identifies critical gaps to strengthen efforts in this space. The event will feature practitioners’ first-hand field experiences and multi-plenary session as detailed below:
Panel 1: Countering the Influence of the Manosphere
Panel 2: Sustaining Normative and Behavioural Change
Panel 3: Mobilizing Resources Towards Engaging Menย in Caregiving
Bringing together stakeholders from civil society, academia, philanthropy, and CSR, the event will foster dialogue on sustaining behaviour change, challenging harmful norms of masculinity, and unlocking pathways to build more equitable and inclusive care systems.
