Anjali Bansal (she/her) is a Senior Research Associate at ICRW Asia. Prior to joining ICRW, Anjali worked as Manager – Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning at DevInsights, where she led various evaluations of health, education and CSR projects, including the Born Healthy 2.0 baseline study across nine Indian states. She was responsible for designing mixed-methods studies, managing multi-state field operations, and supporting programmatic decision-making with data-driven insights.
Before that, she served as a Senior Research Scientist at the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, under a study Maternal and Newborn Health (MNH) Exemplar, where she contributed to the large-scale data analysis and state-level dissemination. She also worked as a Research Officer for NFHS-6, where she supported data quality assurance, developed field monitoring indicators, and coordinated large-scale survey operations.
Anjali’s earlier roles include Research Officer at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, where she contributed to studies on HIV/AIDS. She has authored over 15 peer-reviewed publications and supported writing technical proposals for organizations such as Jhpiego, CHAI, and UNICEF.
