Linking Women to Hunger-Fighting Effort Results in Greatest Benefits
Linking Women to Hunger-Fighting Effort Results in Greatest Benefits
Katherine Coon
2006
Despite the mounting evidence that improving women's education, income and status helps break the hunger-malnutrition-poverty cycle, women and girls throughout the world continue to face exclusion from agricultural development and nutrition programs. ICRW advocates for a linked approach between gender equality and nutrition interventions in order to maximize each project's impact.
