Sharmishtha Nanda joined ICRW in June 2016 as a Technical Specialist with the social and economic development group. She works with the Personal Advancement and Career Enhancement Program (P.A.C.E Program for GAP Inc.), which is geared towards education and life skills training for girls and women in various settings. She has experience working in many states in the development domain over the years, primarily in public health research and capacity building for human resources in health.
Prior to joining ICRW, Sharmishtha was managing the India site of the Emerging Mental Health Systems in LMICs (EMERALD) project, an EU project with the Public Health Foundation of India. She also worked as a consultant for several research studies with Save the Children (India), Institute of Health Management Research, UNICEF, and the World Health Organization.
