ICRW joins so many others in acknowledging that the conviction of Derek Chauvin for the brutal murder of George Floyd represents a critical step in advancing accountability among law enforcement and the criminal justice system for the ongoing unjust treatment of Black and brown Americans. We also acknowledge and support the work that remains to be done to dismantle systemic racism in America and around the world.


Shana Williams

Senior Operations Manager, Business Development

Shana Williams joined ICRW in 2006, where she has gained broad-based experience in business development, operations, financial and program management. In her role as Senior Operations Manager, Business Development, she manages restricted funding opportunities for Washington, DC and regional offices in Africa and Asia.

She has led efforts to develop proposals for foundations, corporations, US Government agencies, foreign governments, bilateral and multilateral organizations. Shana has developed detailed analyses and strategies for various aspects of business development for ICRW. She is currently the vice chair of ICRW’s Institutional Review Board.

Prior to ICRW, she worked as a Municipal Development Facilitator for the U.S. Peace Corps in El Salvador and as Credit Manager for Wells Fargo in Dallas, Texas.

Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, International Finance at Texas Christian University and MPA, Public Administration / International Development at Rutgers University - Camden
