Rajendra Singh

Rajendra Singh is a Senior Technical Specialist at ICRW’s Asia Regional office. His responsibilities include conceptual and instrument design, program design, training and capacity building, monitoring and evaluation and liaising with study partners and international donors. He contributes to research that aims to understand how gender inequity compromises the health of individuals, families and communities.

Rajendra brings more than 20 years of experience as a social science researcher, program manager with special expertise in sexuality, reproductive health and HIV/AIDS. He has presented many papers in national and international conferences and has co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed professional journal articles focused on these issues in India.

Prior to joining ICRW in 2008, Rajendra worked about 10 years with the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) Mumbai and organized over 15 workshops at the various locations across India for academician, researchers and program managers in area of reproductive health, HIV and population development. He also played key role in conducting of several research projects at the IIPS applying qualitative and quantitative techniques.

Education: Master's degree in economics from the University of Allahabad, UP, India
