Martha Baye

Research & Programs Associate

Martha Baye is a Research and Programs Associate with the Policy and Advocacy team, based in the ICRW U.S. office. Martha conducts research, develops project-related documents, and supports both program management and administrative assistance to the Deputy Director and across the team.

For over three years, Martha has worked in the non-profit sector with demonstrated experience in research and analysis and gender mainstreaming practices.

Prior to joining ICRW, Martha worked at METOOETHIOPIA for the gender advocacy team to develop and implement gender advocacy strategies and materials to deliver consulting services for projects, as well as develop corporate brand initiatives focused on women. At Mercy Housing, she provided in-resident service programming and community outreach. Martha also served as a research assistant at George Washington University, where she contributed to the development and implementation of note-taking procedures for qualitative data collection and research analysis.

Education: Martha holds a M.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University and a B.A. in International Studies from Hampton University.
