Henna Vaid serves as Coordinator, New Project Development for ICRW Asia.
Prior to joining ICRW, Henna was a Manager at Breakthrough, working in fundraising and focusing on the corporate vertical. There she conceived of proposals and campaigns to be pitched to companies under their CSR policies. She collaborated with brands like PnG, Uber, HuL, British Asia trust, Oracle and Genpact to fund ongoing and new initiatives at Breakthrough. Additionally, she worked toward streamlining volunteering platforms for corporate employees like Google, Oracle, Genpact and BAT, which is now being adopted at Breakthrough as a full-time program.
Henna’s previous experience also includes working with PHFI as a research assistant with the India-China mental health alliance for research and evidence building. In MAMTA, she worked as a full time program coordinator to implement RMNCH+A and mental wellbeing programs seeking to integrate mental wellbeing for improved women’s and adolescent health across four states. There she conducted workshops and trainings on women’s and adolescent mental wellbeing and and developed training curriculum and tools that comply with RKSK and WHO programs.
Among her other roles, she also conducted mentor trainings, workshops and research on self-care and wellbeing across teams and organizations.
