Gisselle Flores

Gisselle Flores is a policy assistant based out of the ICRW-US office, providing administrative support to the policy and advocacy team and the coalitions that ICRW chairs or co-chairs, including the Coalition for Women’s Economic Empowerment and Equality (CWEEE) and the Feminist Foreign Policy Coalition. Gisselle also focuses on the policy and advocacy team’s work on gender-based violence.

Prior to joining ICRW, Gisselle was an outreach specialist at the Violence Intervention Program (VIP). There, she collaborated with design and communications staff to organize, implement, and evaluate virtual and in-person community action efforts toward raising awareness around gender-based violence in communities of color. In the years prior, Gisselle served as a research intern for Observatorio Contra el Acoso Chile, office assistant at the Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies Department and the Women’s & LGBTQ+ Resource Center at Gettysburg College, and vice president of the Latin American Student Association at Gettysburg College.

Education: B.A. in Spanish and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and a minor in Peace and Justice Studies from Gettysburg College
