Esther Kamugo (she/her) is an Operations Scholar based at the ICRW Uganda Office, joining us as part of the Scholars for Social Change project, in partnership with Crossroads International and The Mastercard Foundation. She supports the team in all Operations to smoothen the programs implemented and research projects organized. Esther has worked for nearly a decade in operations, education, and humanitarian sectors where she attained experience in both programming and operations in non-profit and profit organizations.
Before joining ICRW, Esther worked with Catholic Relief Services on different projects in the emergency department and with the Restore Africa Project (Uganda) as an Aspire Fellow. In addition, she worked with the American University of Beirut in the Alumni Relations Office (Lebanon) as an Alumni Relations Officer – Africa, MasterCard Scholars Foundation (Lebanon), BTM TV (Uganda), and Ensigo of Love Centre as a project Officer, among others.
