Human Resources Generalist

Caroline Zindere is a Human Resources Generalist in the Washington, DC office. For nearly a decade, Caroline has worked in human resources, and in her current role at ICRW, she focuses on recruitment and staffing, performance management, benefits management and administration, payroll administration, HR compliance and compliance reporting, HRIS data management, policies and procedures assistance.

Prior to joining ICRW, Caroline’s career experiences included four years of working with nonprofit organizations and two years in the hospitality sector in Zimbabwe. She has worked for a few years in international development, most recently with Chemonics.

Apart from human resources work, Caroline is passionate about improving children’s lives. Caroline has volunteered to work with organizations that are devoted to improving lives of Orphans and Vulnerable children (OVC) and poor communities. As a volunteer, she participated in various projects which had a focus on education and literacy for children, health, and livelihoods. Caroline was acknowledged as having played a pivotal role in organizing awareness events, and in 2020, she participated in the WOMEN and Girls Summit, delivering a speech on Health challenges that women and girls face in Africa.

Education: Caroline holds a Bachelor Honors Degree in Sociology from the University of Zimbabwe. She also attained certificates in various HR Disciplines and is a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)-certified professional.
