Britt Robinson

Senior Communications Specialist

Britt Robinson is a Senior Communications Specialist based out of the ICRW-US office where she coordinates and implements strategic communications to elevate ICRW’s advocacy, research, programming, and advisory services. Britt comes to this position with several years of nonprofit experience as a digital communications consultant for D.C. non-profits including American Women for International Understanding and the Committee for Human Rights in North Korea. Prior, she ran running social media campaigns for Broadway and projects in Hollywood. Her current work at ICRW includes providing communication support to our advocacy and policy team and utilizing a data-driven approach to manage the digital brand and presence of ICRW.  Britt also serves as the communications lead for the WeProsper global coalition for women’s economic empowerment. 

Prior to joining ICRW, Britt worked at Hennepin Theatre Trust as a communications coordinator where she oversaw the implementation of new digital media software and laid the foundations of a cohesive social media strategy. In addition to communications, she has worked extensively in the human rights sector with a particular focus on the Korean Peninsula. In 2018 she worked at Liberty in North Korea, an NGO assisting North Korean refugees. Since then, she has written numerous articles and spoken at conferences about refugee and gender issues on the Korean Peninsula. Using her digital media and communication skills, Britt has continued to support North and South Korean women through her research and professional affiliations.

Education: Britt holds a M.A. in Asian Studies specializing in Global Gender Policy from The George Washington University and a B.A. in Asian Studies from the College of Saint Benedict.
