Bio: 

Amruta Bavadekar is a research officer at the International Center for Research on Women’s (ICRW) Asia Regional Office. Her work focuses on reducing sexual risk to improve the health of women and men in Mumbai communities.

Before joining ICRW, Bavadekar conducted forest management research at Pune University, worked at the research organization, Ethno-vision, and did quantitative analysis work for YASHADA, a government training program in Maharashtra. In these positions, Bavadekar presented her research at numerous conferences and workshops.
