This network of international organizations is based in the United Kingdom and shares research and information related to interventions on forced and child marriages and violence against women and girls.

UNICEF

This United Nations organization has called for an end to child marriages, and works in ten eastern and southern African countries to assist child wives and to educate girls and their families about the dangers of child marriage.

Ouagadougou Declaration to End Child Marriages

NGOs from six African countries, along with the Forum on Marriage and the Rights of Women and Girls, met in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso in 2003, and issued a declaration calling on African governments, nongovernmental organizations, and the international community to work to end child and forced marriages.
