International Men and Gender Equality Survey (IMAGES)

The International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) experts and others will release initial findings of the International Men and Gender Equality Survey (IMAGES), during an event at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. IMAGES is the first comprehensive study to date of men’s attitudes and behaviors related to gender equality.

Gary Barker, director of ICRW’s programs related to engaging men and boys, will present overall results of the 3-year study that took place in Brazil, Chile, Croatia, India, Mexico and Rwanda. ICRW President Sarah Degnan Kambou will moderate a discussion of the data with representatives from each country.

The discussion of IMAGES will take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and will be followed by a cocktail reception from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

This event is by invitation only and is not open to the public.
